About Dr. Patrice Eustache Jucks
From the first session, I encourage hope and inner strength in all of my clients. It is my view that all individuals have good qualities, the capability to do well, and have the desire to make changes in their lives. In addition, I believe that negative thinking has a strong effect on people’s behaviors and that if they can shift their thinking in a positive manner, they will be motivated and drawn to more pleasant outcomes. I have conducted individual, family, and group therapy in areas such as major life changes, depression, anxiety, and teen issues.
I specialize in major life transitions such as adjusting to being a new high school/college student, becoming a new mother, and career/passion changes. I utilize Solution Focused Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Areas of expertise: * Anxiety * Adolescent Issues * Depression * Major Life Changes
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Spelman College, a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at Temple University, and a Doctoral Degree in Counselor Education and Supervision at Argosy University, Atlanta.
